Ellen Lindner Class

I took this online class with Ellen a couple of months ago. The class is called Double Reverse Applique. We started with an apple. We all had a really great time. I love the piece. Here it is before I quilted it.
Here is the link to Ellen's site. She is an awesome teacher.

Carol Taylor Class

I am the 5th from the left and am sitting right under my piece. I am pretty darn proud of it! The 2 really nice ones to the left in the picture are the ones that Carol brought. She is not in the picture because she was taking the picture. I still have to do my outlining and add the circles. She had an incredible assortment of fibers to choose from - totally blew my budget!!

I've been gone a while!

Seems like time is flying by faster and faster as I get older. I've been finishing up a few trades with others on the surface design group. I took an awesome class from Carol Taylor. I seem to be good at starting but not finishing so my goal over the next few months will be to finish up a few things! Hopefully I'll learn how to post some pictures of my stuff too.

My First Posting!

I wanted to trade a postcard with Susan Lentz at http://cyberfyberexhibition.blogspot.com/ so I decided to start a blog! I have been wanting to start a blog for over a year but just didn't take the leap - well here I am. I will have to learn how to post some photos. This will be slow going but I will get there.
